Dashboard Guide

The DocsRouter Dashboard is your command center for managing API keys, billing, and usage.

Overview

The dashboard is divided into several sections:

• Playground: Interactive tool to test OCR models instantly.
• Usage: Detailed analytics of your API usage and costs.
• API Keys: Manage your secure access credentials.
• Billing: Manage credits and payment methods.
• Settings: Account configuration.

Playground

The main landing page of the dashboard is the Playground.

1. Upload: Drag & drop an image or click to select one.
2. Select Model: Choose from available models (e.g., Gemini 2.0, GPT-4o).
3. Extract: Click "Extract Text" to process the image.
4. View: See the formatted text, raw JSON response, and cost/performance stats.
5. Copy: Easily copy the result as Markdown, Text, or JSON.

Privacy Note: Files uploaded to the playground are processed in memory and immediately discarded. We do not store your documents.

API Keys

Navigate to the API Keys tab to create keys for your applications.

• Create Key: Generate a new key for a specific environment (e.g., "Prod", "Staging").
• Revoke: Immediately disable a compromised or unused key.
• Last Used: See when a key was last used to identify inactive credentials.

Usage History

The Usage tab provides granular insights into your API traffic.

• Date Filtering: View usage by day, week, or custom range.
• Cost Breakdown: See exactly how much each provider/model is costing you.
• Request Log: Drill down into individual requests to debug issues or audit costs.

Billing

DocsRouter operates on a pre-paid credit system.

• Add Credits: Purchase credits via Stripe to ensure uninterrupted service.
• Invoices: Download PDF invoices for your records.
• Balance: View your current remaining balance.
