User Journey: Fueling Your Workflows with Credits
To move from experimentation to production, DocsRouter provides a flexible, usage-based billing model. The Billing dashboard is where users manage their balance, view transaction history, and top up credits.
The Experience
The billing workflow is designed for speed, allowing developers to quickly add capacity to their accounts.
1. Balance Overview
The dashboard prominently displays the Current Balance in USD and Credits ($1 = 100 credits), ensuring costs are intuitive.
2. Flexible Top-Ups
DocsRouter offers tiered credit packages:
- $5 (500 credits): Ideal for personal projects or small-scale testing.
- $10 (1,000 credits): The popular choice for early-stage applications.
- $100 (10,000 credits): For high-volume production workloads.
3. Transactional Integrity
The Transaction History table provides a detailed audit trail. Every credit deduction for OCR processing or document conversion is logged with its date, type, and exact amount.
Current Status & Roadmap
During our audit, we observed that while credit selection and initiation are seamless, the platform currently displays an error during the final purchase stage. This indicates that the live billing integration is in active development and being prepared for a full production rollout.
