Earlier examples on this page were not verified DocsRouter customer case studies. They have been replaced with an evaluation framework.
OCR ROI depends on document volume, current handling time, review rate, exception cost, provider usage, and integration work.
Start with a measured pilot:
- Record current labor and error-correction time for a representative batch.
- Run the same batch through a supported DocsRouter model.
- Measure extraction quality and the human review still required.
- Add provider cost, DocsRouter's 5% platform fee, engineering time, and ongoing operations.
- Compare total workflow cost and cycle time over a realistic period.
Do not assume that OCR eliminates review or produces a fixed percentage saving. DocsRouter does not provide an automatic batch-ingestion service, result cache, or confidence-based fallback. Build those workflow controls in your application if your analysis justifies them.
